Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 6 hours
- 1 RHF pasture raised sirloin tip roast
- 1 packet dry Italian seasoning
- 1-12.5oz. jar of whole pepperoncini peppers
- A cup of two of broth (beef preferably, but you if have some homemade chicken in the fridge like me, it’ll still be delicious too!
- Salt and Pepper * Pack of Sub rolls * Butter
- Cheese of your choice
Season the roast well with salt and pepper. Put it into your crock pot and sprinkle the Italian dressing on top. Pour on the peppers and the broth-pop the lid on the crock pot and DONE! Dinner will be ready in 6ish hours depending on your crock pot! When I got home I took out the roast and shredded it and then added back into the juicy goodness. Get yourself a pack of good quality sub rolls, slice ‘em, butter and grill ‘em, and top it with a heaping pile of beef. THEN take it to the next level by covering the beef with the cheese of your choice and broiling it until the cheese melts. Serve with the juice!
Side note— this can be made in advance and refrigerated! Then reheat your beef with plenty of the juice on the stove top just like I did with this one when the hubs needed a late snack after working hard!
