About Our Livestock

Pasture Raised Beef

When shopping for beef at the grocery store, its sometimes hard to discern labels. What they mean can be questionable. Grass fed? All natural? That's why we like to be as transparent as possible and allow you to know the way our beef is raised and know us - the farmers that raised it! This allows you to decide your own meat labels and purchase from our farm to table source. Our herd of cattle is raised on pasture year round. They rotationally graze on fresh green pastures in the spring, summer and fall. In the winter months they're fed nutritious, local hay daily. They're always supplemented with free choice minerals to make up for any nutrients that the grass may lack. Following along with us on Instagram will allow you to see with your own eyes the way we raise and care for our animals.

Forest/Pasture Raised Pork

Only about 10% of the pigs in America are raised outside. Sunshine and foraging is what makes pasture-raised pork nutrient dense, healthy and delicious. The difference is very obvious! Our pigs are rotated between fresh pasture and spacious, wooded areas with plenty of room to forage, root and be pigs. They have access to grass, leaves, acorns and also free choice grower feed at all times. We also seasonally treat them to pumpkins, acorns and berries.

Pasture Raised Lamb

Our Katahdin sheep are raised on pastures year round grazing on fresh, green grass. Katahdins are hardy, low maintenance sheep that produce superior lamb crops and lean, meaty carcasses.

Pastured Poultry

Through the spring a summer months, we raise 2-3 batches of broiler chickens. We are also raising our first batch of Thanksgiving turkeys! They're raised in a spacious chicken tractor outside on the pasture, where we rotate them daily on fresh green grass. This allows them to continually have fresh grass and bugs to scratch and forage around on, creating the tastiest and healthiest meat. This also does amazing work to our pastures as they fertilize it each day!
