Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter, browned in a pan and slightly cooled
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed (dark or light is fine)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs + 2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. cream, 1/2 and 1/2 or milk (whichever you have)
1 1/2 TBSP vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
2 cups chocolate chips (i used a combo of semi sweet, milk chocolate & dark)
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Make the dough following the steps just like my chocolate chip cookie recipe. Once your dough is all mixed, don't refridgerate. Spray or line(with parchment paper) a half baking sheet and press your dough evenly in the pan. It's ok if its not perfect in every corner. Once pressed out evenly, bake for 20-25 mins, turning about halfway through. Watch it those last few minutes to make sure it doesn't over cook. You want your edges browned but not the top too much. Remove from the oven and cool. Slice into whatever size pieces your heart desires. Makes a HUGE pan full so its great to share with others, take to a gathering, as a birthday cake or just because you deserve a treat. ENJOY!
