
-1 lb RHF spicy Italian sausage
-1 lb ground bacon ends (you could easily use chopped bacon or pancetta)
-1 medium onion, diced
-4 cups of diced potatoes of your choice
-2 cloves of garlic, minced
-2 TBSP flour
-4 cups chicken broth
-3 cups chopped fresh kale or frozen (could use spinach)
-1 cup heavy cream
-plenty of salt and pepper
Start by dicing one onion, several red potatoes, and 2 cloves of garlic.
In a large pot you want to brown 1 lb of spicy italian sausage and 1 lb of bacon. To the bacon grease, you want to add the onion and garlic and get it started. Add your flour on top and let it cook for a couple of minutes. Then add your chicken broth, potatoes, and plenty of salt and pepper. Give it a good stir and leave the lid on and let cook until the potatoes have softened.
After that, add in your sausage, kale, and heavy cream and give it a good stir and put the lid back on until the kale wilts. Then it should be ready! Enjoy!
