
1 - 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 - 6 oz. can or tube of tomato paste
2 TBSP brown sugar (light or dark is fine)
2 TBSP granulated sugar (could sub honey)
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp each, granulated onion and garlic
Combine everything together into a small sauce pan and bring to a gentle/low simmer. Stir often for 5-10 mins. If too thick, add a bit more water if needed. Set aside and cool. Funnel into a long neck jar or just a mason jar is fine. We love this ketchup!
