The Perfectly Grilled Pork Chop

Let me start by saying that I am not the grill master of our house! That would be my sweet and amazing husband, Kaleb. I asked him for the complete guide to grilling the pork chop and he happily obliged. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2-6 Amazingly delicious Rock House Farms pork chops

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp garlic powder

1 TBSP brown sugar

1.5 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

We see the best results when we allow them to rest at room temperature for at least 30 mins before grilling. Mix all of your seasonings together in a bowl and rub the pork chops with the season well. If there is extra seasoning left, store in a jar to use next time because its the best! Bring your grill up to around 350 degrees and lay your chops of the top rack (indirect heat) and leave them alone for about 3 minutes and then flip to the other side for another 3 mins. Repeat this process again, flipping every three minutes to keep them from burning at all on the outside. The key is to NOT OVERCOOK YOUR PORKCHOP! Once your internal temperature reaches 145 degrees, take them off and put onto a plate. Wrap the plate in foil and allow the chops to rest for 10 mins. You’ll never grill them any other way!
